Bedzone suggests a 4-step process to choosing your bed:

Step 1: Choose Your Size (Single, Three-Quarter, Double, Queen or King)

Step 2: Test Your Comfort Level (Plush, Medium, Firm)

Step 3: Choose Your Mattress Type (Inner Spring or Pocket Coil)

Step 4: Select a Brand (Medi+Spine, Restonic, Sealy or Slumberland)

Choosing the right mattress for your body type and sleeping positions is one of the most important decisions you’ll make in your quest to sleep well night after night. A mattress’ comfort level determines the degree of support it offers, how much contouring it provides and how well it relieves pressure. Here are Bedzone’s comfort levels:

  • Plush: Soft cushioning layers that mould to the contours of your body. The best option if you prefer to sleep on your side.
  • Medium: Good balance between soft cushioning and firm support. Ideal comfort for all sleeping positions.
  • Firm: Enhanced support where you need it most. Perfect if you prefer to sleep on your stomach or back.

Both mattress types offer great comfort, support, provide good airflow and are very durable. Inner-spring mattresses offer more generalised support while pocket-coil mattresses shape to the contours of your body.

This depends on the lifespan of the bed set you have and is affected by how well you have taken care of your bed; however, experts suggest changing your mattress every 5 – 10 years.

Refer to the manufacturer’s guidelines for instructions specific to your bed set, as some mattresses do not require turning. However, spinning your mattress head-to-toe helps even out indentations that may happen over time.

Bedzone wants you to sleep well on your new bed set. If you are not comfortable on your new bed set after the 30-day breaking-in period and before 100 days from date of purchase, Bedzone will exchange it for another bed set of equal or greater value (you will be required to pay any excess for a bed set of a higher cost).

To qualify for Bedzone’s Sleep Well 100-Day Trial Period, you must buy and consistently use a waterproof mattress protector on the bed set from date of purchase.

You need to have slept on the bed for a minimum of 30 nights to allow for the mattress’ breaking-in period.

The bed set must be in perfect condition, undamaged, sanitary, and free of any stains, marks, and burns.


Bedzone accepts payment via debit and credit cards, and electronic transfers (EFT) online and in store. Cash payments are accepted in store. No cheque payments are accepted.


If you have purchased a product to the value of R3999,99 or more and need it delivered within 120kms of the Bedzone warehouse, Bedzone can deliver your product/s once all payments due have been received.

You can choose to collect your purchased product/s from the Bedzone warehouse at no cost, or Bedzone will arrange delivery of the product/s to your stipulated address.

Bedzone will agree on an estimated time of delivery i.e., between 9am and 12pm on a specific day. Bedzone delivers between 8am and 5pm on weekdays and between 8am and 1pm on Saturday. Please ensure there is someone at the stipulated address at the agreed-upon delivery timeframe to accept and sign for the delivery.

Bedzone offers a same-day delivery on standard products. Special-order products may take up to 21 business days from date of purchase.

The cost of your delivery will be calculated on the distance between Bedzone’s warehouse and the stipulated delivery address. A fixed delivery fee of R450 applies for deliveries within less than 25kms, and a fixed delivery fee of R600 applies to deliveries more than 25kms (limit of 120kms).

Bedzone reserves the right to amend the delivery fees from time to time.

Please note that if the initial delivery is unsuccessful due to no one being present at the stipulated address and agreed-upon delivery timeframe, and Bedzone must do a subsequent delivery, the delivery will be for your costs.
